Oar Tower with Bushing
For the quite stealth mode when rowing that silent river slough the bushing could make the difference in your hunting success.
When assembling the oar lock and tower: Before inserting your oar locks, lubricant the inner bushing of the tower and oar lock shaft, with marine grease. This will stop that loud annoying squeak that occurs with every rowing motion.
This will also extend the life of the tower - Aluminum is a softer metal, the brass bushings are a great, stealthy idea!
This oar shaft can also be cut, when fine tuning the correct oar length to your seat hight. When selecting your seating options theres the Captain's Chair a dry box or cooler. Each of these options may have a oar reach adjustment, that may require cutting the oar shaft.
